Working within the parameters of a suburban allotment, the team at Buildcraft Constructions designed and built a sizeable family home with an open-plan layout and three living areas for entertaining to maximise the available space and deliver yet another modern masterpiece.

To meet the homeowners needs for a large home to accommodate for family and visitors, Buildcraft Constructions employed new-age solutions to create an easily-accessible floorplan. This resulted in fewer hallways, allowing each room to flow seamlessly into the next, from the entranceway right through to the kitchen and living area. The double-storey structure allows for void areas in the entrance and dining room, which heighten the sense of grandeur.

The kitchen is replete with a generous island bench and state-of-the-art appliances including an in-built double Miele oven. Effortlessly styled with modern pendant lights, smooth black cabinetry and a mirrored splashback, this space is perfect for attending to family and hosting guests. Completing this luxurious space, a modish wine cellar is tucked around the corner, adding a touch of class.

For pure cohesion, the stunning exterior reflects the shapes and elements of the interior, featuring a cool monochromatic palette and varied textures to catch the eye. In order to fit into the surrounding streetscape, warm timber panelling across the second floor and the front door were incorporated into the design, complementing the sharp lines and bold whites and blacks. Easy accessibility was not overlooked in the front yard either – square stepping-stone pavers traverse the lush grass, leading to the front door.

This beautiful home won Buildcraft Constructions the Master Builders Association of NSW 2020 – Finalist Design & Construct $500,001 – $1 Million award.
