Seeking to bring this home to the twenty-first century, ADR Construction Co. were tasked with creating a bright and airy free-flowing interior. Working within the existing home’s framework to transform the space to meet the client’s requirements, ADR Construction Co. had to remove several internal walls that constituted multiple small, ill-used rooms to create a large, open-plan space.

At the heart of the home, a generous kitchen replete with a waterfall Caesarstone island bench and butler’s pantry flows into a magnificent lounge room complete with an in-built fireplace. An archway spanning the width of the room acts as the boundary separating the living area from a separate dining and lounge room that opens out onto beautiful, spacious outdoor kitchen area equipped with a sink, drinks fridge, barbecue, pizza oven and even a wall-mounted television.

The bedrooms are as carefully considered as the rest of the home; V-lux skylights and two large French doors that open out onto the abode’s verandah illuminate the gorgeous master bedroom. Exposed brick walls have been retained for character and the warm hues perfectly complement the muted natural tones utilised throughout the rest of the room.
