Xclusiv Built Projects worked alongside Connor & Solomon Architects and Pure Interiors to revive this old Victorian terrace and bring it into the current century while preserving the lovely heritage façade. The traditional exterior ties in perfectly with the modern interior, creating a delightful contrast that’s inviting and intriguing.

Though a small unit, the open-plan layout and maximisation of joinery makes the home feel grand and expansive. First stepping through the front door, there’s an instant sense of spaciousness, with the living, dining and kitchen all effortlessly flowing from the front of the home to the rear. Italian scratch-proof joinery forms the fabulous matte black kitchen for a sleek, minimalist aesthetic.

Glass doors that cleverly slide into a recess in the wall create a seamless transition between the kitchen and backyard. Again, Xclusiv Built Projects managed to achieve a lot in a compact space, including a beautiful timber deck surrounded by simple shrubbery, feature timber beams, and a wall for projecting movies.

The master suite is designed to feel just as open as the living area and alfresco. On one side is the bedroom with a bold,black feature wall, dangling pendant lights and smooth engineered timber floorboards. The en suite opens out into the space,divided only by a half wall that encases the luxurious bathtub. Contrasting yet complementary tones distinguish these twosections – the bathroom bright and fair against the darker bedroom.
