Barn Light Australia Project 1
The Vintage Lighting Of Dreams
This historic barn located at the foothills of the Victorian Alps is a perfect example of how Barn Light Australia’s lighting can be used all over the country to enhance and highlight a building while being fully exposed to the harsh Australian climate.
Located on the iconic site where ‘The Man From Snowy River’ was filmed back in 1981, the clients required outdoor rated lighting that suited the rustic image of the building and had the durability to withstand the harsh weather as it sits atop the front of the historic barn. The result was a beautiful, period-style lighting that enhances the barn’s traditional aesthetic. Their engineered Dual Arm Sign Light over the barn’s entrance permits light to reflect off the Corten Steel Sign and enable an adequate amount of light to leak into the barn during the winter months.
Designed to enhance the old-world country charm already established on-site, this traditional-style lighting is incredibly modernised, with the ability to hold high-wattage globes courtesy of Barn Light Australia’s ceramic lamp holder.
