A WARM TRIBUTE

This home speaks to the history, culture and memories of the homeowner. Drawing inspiration from her childhood in India, design elements for this project were meticulously hand-picked. Most notably, the terrace is open to the sky, a reference to a memory of sleeping under the stars.

This ‘Abode of Happiness’ or Ananda Nilayam is just that, a space for family and laughter which just feels like home.

Sunlight seeps through the large windows, bathing the home in a warm glow. Hues of rich brown timber grounds the space, the feature wall effortlessly creates visual interest in the room while the indoor swing separates the living area from the kitchen and dining spaces.

The zoning of this home creates a seamless transition from room to room, allowing each area to shine.

The open, light, airy space was specifically crafted to ensure maximum airflow on the corner lot. The natural materials throughout the space, including Vitrified Tiles, stone and marble, adds depth and appeal into this luxurious build.

This project was managed by Nikita Desai, the homeowner, whose childhood fuelled each element and choice behind this home.
