CAPTURING A TIMELESS AND EDURING APPEAL

With the client brief asking for French Provincial elegance that’s responsive to the North Shore market, this family residential build is a vision brought to life. Offering timeless sophistication, it carries relevant appeal to future homeowners and buyers alike.

The way people interact within a home was at the forefront, with positions of interior spaces establishing a natural flow. The home itself is a balance of intelligent spatial planning and thoughtfully chosen materials to meet the clients’ aspirations with technical site requirements.

Stormwater management proved challenging due to the volume of On-Site Detention (OSD) located above ground, risking unwanted visual bulk. Through careful positioning and grading, the OSD was effectively concealed.

Importance was placed on sustainability, evident through solar access consideration, increased insulation and thermal levels plus a usage of high-performance glazing and energy-efficient window systems. These passive design principles saw the home achieve a 7-star BASIX and NatHERS rating.
