The client brief called for an open-plan design with plenty of room for entertaining that also utilised plenty of natural light. Designer Living Homes accomplished this task by designing a home with a large alfresco area that wraps around the kitchen and main living area. Strategically placed skylights were also installed to allow the natural light to flood through the covered outdoor entertaining area and into the main living space, as well.

The expansive Caesarstone island benchtop is the focal point of the kitchen, allowing for hassle-free preparation and entertaining. Matching Caesarstone was also selected for the splashback, contrasting beautifully with the kitchen’s overhead cabinetry, which extends to the three-metre high ceiling. This design choice provides the kitchen with an inviting and open feel, as well as plenty of storage space.

The bathroom’s focal point is undoubtedly the freestanding bath, which is positioned in front of an oversized marbletiled feature wall. The mirrored cabinetry provides a striking, modern aesthetic. Featuring a frameless shower, a floating vanity unit and louvered windows, this bathroom is the perfect example of minimalist, contemporary design at its finest.
