Featuring a skewed triangular block, this unique property blends creativity with practicality. Built by Zenith Homes Australia and designed by Sarah Remaili of SR House Design, this two-storey project is the epitome of open-plan living.

Zenith Homes Australia worked closely with the clients to utilise every inch of the block’s available space, where possible. The site’s shape was both a challenge and a unique point of interest; its distinct boundary lines allowed for an expansive façade. The site’s dimensions also allowed the team to be more creative with angles, as evident in the pool and alfresco area design. A large garage, which also doubles as a workspace, was another top priority for the clients.

Featuring a large void, natural hardwood flooring and an open timber staircase, the home’s entry instantly draws your eye and makes the space appear more spacious. The home has a modern yet a worldly feel and is replete with European appliances, Italian tiles and marble benchtops. The alfresco area was designed to make the area feel open and inviting, while the high cedar-lined ceiling and louvred window openings allow for seamless air flow and natural lighting to flood through the home.

Passive design measures, appropriate building techniques and quality insulation materials were utilised by Zenith Homes Australia to ensure this home was as eco-friendly as possible. As a result, the home doesn’t solely rely on other supplementary measures to achieve a stable, comfortable temperature year-round.
