High-Life Country Housing

This sprawling acreage-style home from Devine Drafting & Design was custom designed to capture the unique taste and characters of the client. A knockdown-rebuild job, the client was fully aware of the best locations for different rooms and how they wanted their new home to flow.

Built as a modern acreage homestead with Balinese vibes, the home is designed around the client’s love of plants and the natural world, incorporating the outside environment into the home as much as possible. The final product includes bespoke water features, a private garden oasis and incorporates an existing, renovated swimming pool. Located on a rural property, this house represents luxe living with no lack of space. The designers at Devine Drafting & Design confess that so much space can have an intimidating factor. It was important that the design met the client’s needs and captured the land in its best light. 

As the client’s forever home, the house needed to account for all of their current and future needs. Featuring sustainable materials including recycled brick, natural timber, COLORBOND steel and natural stone, the process became a labour of love for both the client and the team from Devine Drafting & Design – especially as the designs were transferred from paper to reality.
