Edgecliff Homes Project 7
Edgecliff Homes worked with Santolo Designs to create this bright and inviting Hamptons-inspired retreat. From custom-made elements through to bold feature walls, this architectural delight is full of character and texture.
Stepping into the entryway, the wide oak Quick-Step staircase, fitted with a custom Hamptons balustrade, elevates the atmosphere. One-of-a-kind handmade barn doors lead into the spacious media centre, which boasts a striking blue Whethertex Weathergroove feature wall that starkly contrasts against the crisp whites that dominate the dwelling.
The homeowners requested a lavish chef kitchen and Edgecliff Homes delivered. Natural light filters through the glass window splashback and illuminates the classic shaker-profile cabinetry, which provides abundant storage space. The wide Smartstone island bench and matching stools are perfect for food preparation and doubles as an additional seating area, fulfilling the homeowners’ request for a home that’s fit for entertaining. To top it all off, the butler’s pantry adjoins both the kitchen and garage for direct access when bringing groceries in, a highly functional feature.
For optimal cohesion, the shaker-style cabinets continue through the bathrooms and laundry. Trendy herringbone Beaumont tiles form yet another feature wall behind the freestanding bathtub in the main bathroom, creating a cool coastal aesthetic. Matte-black handles and Phoenix tapware enhance the overall look with monochromatic charm. The main bathroom even has a laundry chute, making this home a wealth of practicality.
The flow from room to room is seamless, whimsical light filling every corner, with streamlined access to each zone. A clever study nook is a useful and subtle little addition to the abode, showcasing open overhead shelving, allowing the homeowners to display decorative accents.
A wide black front door makes an instant statement against the clean whites of this stunning home’s façade. Conscious of maintaining energy efficiency, Edgecliff Homes chose a ‘shale grey’ COLORBOND roof and lighter shades for the exterior walls to help reflect the sun so the homeowners can reduce their heating and cooling costs.
With backgrounds in property development and construction, Jarrod Morley and Nathan Consentino established Edgecliff Homes in 2017, building it on trust, honesty and integrity.
