Evolve Building & Development Project 1

This impressive project by Evolve Building and Development is a liveable work of art and a spectacular piece of architecture. Collaborating closely with the client, Evolve Building and Development created a unique custom design that adhered to the client’s brief of an abode that is as entertainment-focused as it is homey, and the outcome far exceeded their expectations.

Large, open spaces are a key feature of this two-storey property. On the first floor, the adjoining kitchen, dining and living areas exemplify a contemporary, minimalist design. Spanning the length of the kitchen, the sleek island features an integrated electric stovetop and a bar fridge, which is perfect for entertaining.

White, handle-less cabinetry and a cleverly concealed fridge contribute to the first-floor kitchen’s cohesive appearance, while the glass-over-timber island adds a touch of warmth and elegance to the design. The glass-panelled designated dining space is a standout component of the space; a surface tailor-made for informal, intimate dining for two.

A unique combination of pebbles, grass and timber branches was selected for the downstairs interior landscaping, introducing natural elements indoors. The impressive void provides visual harmony between the first and second storey, allowing optimum light and airflow to infiltrate all areas of the home. Constructed from timber and fitted with glass balustrades, the stairs lead up to the secondary living area; a cosy nook that affords privacy when entertaining.

The upstairs kitchen sits prominently within the second floor’s open-plan living space and flows seamlessly into the smaller living quarters. An area fit for entertaining, the kitchen’s island also includes recessed bar shelves, a stovetop and connecting dining table. Industrial-style cubed shelving are a practical yet visually appealing feature,  while glass display cases were installed above for additional storage potential.

The chic bathroom is fitted with a floating counter, a double sink and an expansive mirror to accommodate a growing household. Featuring a rainfall showerhead and handheld hose, the frameless shower is the epitome of luxury. The bathroom also functions as a laundry, complete with a front-loader washing machine, dryer and ample storage cupboards.

For evening soirées, feature pendant lights and LED downlights illuminate the home to encourage an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The grand floor-to-ceiling windows harness plenty of natural light and offer unobstructed views of the pool and entertaining area. The overhanging balcony is a remarkable engineering feat of this design. Similarly, the roof was strategically positioned to extend over the swimming pool to create designated shaded areas.

Founded seven years ago by company director Konstantin Kyselov, Evolve Building and Development specialises in new custom builds, large-scale designs and innovative interior products. The company was initially conceived as a development business, but expanded to building for clients who had difficulty finding a builder that could complete their design within a reasonable budget.

Building in south-west Sydney, Campbelltown, Leppington and Menangle, the expert team construct between one and two homes per year to ensure each project is of the utmost quality.
