This showstopping, one-of-a-kind masterpiece by Highwater Homes certainly has a commanding presence in the street. The clients desired a smooth building process and quality home, which with Macarthur Architectural Drafting drawing the plans, Highwater Homes delivered, creating a home that the clients adore.

The stunning property uses reclaimed original feature bricks for the front and alfresco piers, has a white rendered finish to the facade and a painted Sorrento bagged finish to all the remaining areas of brickwork with cladding to the first floor. This creates textual interest to the exterior, and the white colour establishes a link to the interior of the house. COLORBOND Klip-Lok sheeting was used for the roof, and the dark colouring matches other features on the front façade, expertly contrasting against the white to draw the eye.

The large windows fill every room with light, including the five separate living areas, open-plan kitchen, guest bedroom and four bedrooms that each include a walk-in robe and ensuite. The upstairs front bedroom also had custom made window seats so the clients can overlook the bushland across the road. Despite the spacious quality to the house, there is the opportunity to close off spaces when necessary. Blackbutt hardwood timber flooring flows throughout the living areas of the house, enhancing the natural and warm feel of the home. The luxe kitchen features black and white cabinetry, brushed nickel handles and tapware and integrated appliances for a seamless, stylish finish. The kitchen also includes a butler’s pantry and additional walk-in pantry and has access to the alfresco area through the servery window.
