HXD’s latest Stanmore project is a showcase of quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design and timeless style – all within the heart of Sydney’s vibrant inner west. Working collaboratively alongside the client from concept to completion, this home exudes luxury and modern family life.

Tucked behind a historic façade in this character-rich suburb, HXD has reimagined the home into a serene, light-filled sanctuary that balances refined elegance with everyday functionality. From the meticulously selected materials to the refined detailing, every aspect of this home reflects the homeowners’ needs for a sophisticated, low-maintenance space. A muted palette, natural textures and subtle architectural lines exude calmness and quiet confidence, making this home truly one-of-a-kind.

The team worked diligently in excavating beneath the existing footprint to create a bespoke basement wine cellar, the perfect space for entertaining and storage alike. However, the surprises don’t end here. The team also went upward, adding a generous attic-level bedroom complete with a walk-in robe and ensuite, offering a poise between privacy and understated luxury. The rear of the home was also extended to create a contemporary open-plan kitchen and living area, seamlessly connecting the heart of the house to the wonderful outdoors.
