This project by Len Pro Building seamlessly blends comfort, style and functionality to create a sanctuary that fosters relaxation while embracing the beauty of the outdoors. Nestled in the stunning mountains of the Hunter Valley, the client desired a contemporary country residence that connects with its surrounding landscape while offering the comforts of modern living. At the heart of the design is a striking soaring skillion roof, which not only adds a modern flair but also allows for uninterrupted views of the countryside. This architectural feature ensures that the living spaces are bathed in natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that is further enhanced by large north-facing windows. The long central hallway, with glass at both ends, draws your eye straight through the home and keeps the views front and centre.

Inside, every detail was considered, from smart storage to seamless flow between the indoor living areas and the large outdoor entertaining deck. The use of large format tiles in the wet areas contribute to a spa-like feel and a calm, clean design. The client opted for parquetry vinyl floors and custom furniture, ensuring a unique and personalised interior. Extensive research went into selecting feature lighting, and unique elements like the glass hatch in the floor and the fireplace design were all carefully incorporated to enhance the home’s character.

The stonework on the external facade required meticulous attention to detail and became an eye-catching feature, beautifully tying in with the colour scheme created by the client and consultant. The home’s monochrome colour palette, enriched with the warmth of timber accents, creates a harmonious balance that evokes both modern sophistication and cosy comfort.
