With a luxurious open atmosphere and a modern design, this home truly stands out from the crowd. With a very specific brief in mind, Starr Constructions was able to create a contemporary family home that exudes comfort and style. Featuring a striking architectural façade, the property has incredible street presence and incorporates a range of different building materials that combine to create a unique aesthetic. The statement metal-spine staircase is a key feature of the property; positioned in the centre of the two living spaces, it draws your eye instantly. The balustrade features semi-frameless glass, which fosters an atmosphere of limitless space.

Every element of the luxurious home was thoughtfully considered and executed, down to the very last detail. Rich herringbone-patterned timber flooring is showcased throughout the home, which perfectly complements the neutral interior colour scheme, while providing an added element of warmth. Playful décor was carefully selected and features throughout the home, which creates visual continuity. The application of herringbone-inspired wallpaper in the main bedroom cleverly ties together all of the main design elements. Matte-black tapware features in all of the wet spaces, as well as a matching freestanding bathtub from Forme Bathroom Collection in the main bathroom. The matte-black finish elevates the design and imbues the bathroom with a sleek and modern feel, while remaining warm and inviting.

The clever use of warm timber flooring and soft grey accents off-set the largely white interior, which creates a sophisticated and welcoming ambience that’s perfect for a growing family. Working with a steep and narrow block had its challenges, but with years of building experience, the team at Starr Constructions were able to easily overcome any difficulties the sloping site presented. The fencing and landscaping were both kept simple and low-maintenance, as the clients didn’t want anything to distract from the spectacular home.
