Straightline Studio Co Project 2

This magnificent home is yet another exemplary design by Straightline Studio Co. This design posed a number of challenges including a steep, sloping plot of land and ensuring the gorgeous rolling hills were captured from most rooms in the home. Cleverly taking these factors into consideration, Straightline Studio Co. meticulously designed an abode that remains private at the front, which then opens out to the gorgeous scenery at the rear of the property.

With clean, white walls, high sweeping ceilings and a centralised pool and entertaining area, Straightline Studio Co. conscientiously adhered to the client’s brief of wanting a resort style home. This lavish abode is comprised of two main pavilions at either side of the site, connected by a glass breezeway – inviting ample sunlight into the home.

Each of the pavilions serve a function, with one acting as a centralised kitchen, dining and living area and the other housing the bedrooms. The wing that hosts the kitchen and living space opens out onto an undercover alfresco entertainment area, which in turn backs onto the pool.

High internal ceilings and large glass windows have imbued the home with a sense of openness. Each room enjoys views to the internal courtyard or the luscious greenery beyond, keeping the whole home bright and open despite some of the rooms being built into the sloped terrain.
